The positive and negative power inputs must be wired exactly as specified. If reversed, the governor will not function and internal circuitry will burn out.
For motors requiring larger currents than 2A, the motor power line must be connected directly to your power supply rather than running through the governor circuitry.
Before powering the unit on, hold down touch switch 1. Turn on the power, wait for the screen to read "FEQ:20K", and release the button. You can then use touch switch 1 to decrease and touch switch 2 to increase the frequency setting. The default value is 20KHz.
This jumper setting configures the feedback multiplier of the motor. Leaving the jumper cap off configures a single feedback (FG), while adding the jumper cap sets it to a triple feedback multiplier (FG*3).
To ensure the screen displays the correct speed, you must configure both the correct feedback multiplier (FG/FG*3 jumper cap) and the matching pole count setting designed for your specific motor.
The signal control ports (including the F/R, BRA, analog, and PWM outputs) cannot handle input signals or voltage values exceeding 5V. Higher voltages can damage the governor.
