Achieving high efficiency in micro-motors requires strict optimization of electromagnetic designs, thermal behavior, and mechanical tolerances.

Optimizing Copper Fill Factor & Magnetic Circuitry

Standard micro-motors often suffer from excessive Joule heating due to loose winding structures. At AKIT MOTORS, our automated winding systems achieve high slot fill factors. By packing more copper into the stator slots, we reduce electrical resistance and lower internal thermal losses.

Additionally, we utilize high-grade permanent magnets, such as sintered NdFeB (Neodymium Iron Boron) rated up to N45UH. These magnets maintain high magnetic flux densities even under operating temperatures exceeding 120°C, preventing demagnetization and maintaining consistent efficiency over time.

Mitigating Core Loss & Cogging Torque

To reduce magnetic iron losses (hysteresis and eddy currents), we build our stators using ultra-thin, high-permeability silicon steel laminations (down to 0.2mm thickness). This is essential for high-speed brushless DC motors operating at frequencies where standard steel laminations generate excessive heat.

For applications demanding smooth motion, our engineers optimize slot-pole combinations and employ skewed stator stack configurations. This reduces cogging torque, ensuring smoother rotation, lower noise levels, and minimized mechanical stress on gearboxes.

Coreless Motor Technology

Our coreless motors feature a self-supporting, skew-wound stator coil. Without an iron core, they exhibit zero cogging torque, extremely low rotor inertia, and high acceleration, making them ideal for precise medical pumps and optical equipment.

Integrated BLDC Drivers

We design custom integrated driver PCBs (PWM speed control, direction switching, speed feedback) that fit directly within the motor housing, reducing external cabling, minimizing EMI, and simplifying overall system integration.
